What do you do when it rains on your engagement shoot and on your wedding day? Why take amazing pictures of course! Some of the best sunsets come after a day of rain and Kate and Adam's rainy wedding day was no exception. 

I could relate to Adam because he's not a big fan of cake. I do however like carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting. But if you don't like any kind of cake you're a bit limited. Just do what Adam did and have your caterer fry up a pound of bacon and walk around your reception eating it! A great solution to a vexing problem!

Lauren was a truly elegant bride. She got ready at her parents house with her mom and bridesmaids. After a first look with her dad She and Ben got married at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church and then off we went downtown for some bridal party pictures. Their reception was held at Union Station in the heart of Indianapolis. Once it started getting dark we snuck away for some twilight photos. Even though it was really crowded we managed to get some great shots. We even got photobombed by a cop! I've had firemen photobomb my pictures but this was a first for me, we had a good laugh. Thanks Lauren and Ben for letting me be a part of your special day

Kayleigh and Cody are truly meant for each other! They finish each others movie quotes and have a fierce loyalty to their friends, often letting them crash at their house for days on end! Their wedding was the first of the wedding season for Avon Gardens. We snuck away and got some candle light pictures in the gardens. A great end of the day but a great beginning for Kaleigh and Cody.

Alyssa & Adam

Alyssa & Adam

Baseball mean's a lot to Alyssa and Adam and they incorporated their love of the game into their wedding. Their ring bearer walked down the isle with a catchers glove and they exited the building to a bat ceremony. The rain stayed mostly away and despite the damp we went to Cox Hall Gardens and did some extended bridal party and bride and groom photos which looked fantastic with all the trees in their full autumn glory. The reception was held at the Ritz Charles where we took more photos outside by twilight before entering their biggest party of the year! The theme couldn't have been more perfect, Alyssa was an elegant bride and Adam a dapper Groom!
