Desiree & Dan

Desiree & Dan

Desiree and Dan are friends of Caitlin and Zach who's wedding I shot last year and who also got married at Union Station. Desiree later told me she went to middle school with Laurenwho's wedding I shot at Union station last year as well! Truly a small world.

The best man, AKA the hand of the queen (or bride in this case) did a co-speech with the maid of honor. In true top gun fashion the groom being backed up by the best man sang You lost that loving' feeling to the bride who was greatly impressed as you can see from the pictures!

Thank you both so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day.

Rachel & Mark

Rachel and Mark's Wedding Pictures at the Montage

Mark's humor is very dry and Rachel is very outgoing so they are a fun couple to be around! He's not shy about showing his love for Rachel though! Their twilight photos were taken on the lake during deep twilight. You're not always guaranteed a sunset but there is always a deep blue after the sun goes down. It was fun hanging around these two and was glad to help them tell the story of their wedding day.

Missie & Chris

Missie & Chris

When I see these wedding photos I see the story behind each one of them and as a wedding photographer I feel like I have a front row to a special story. The threat of rain couldn't dampen this couple's spirits! They couldn't wait to be married. Brian Whitis (the DJ) is Chris' brother-in-law and helped them plan their wedding from start to finish. Seeing as Brian was the DJ he turned a blank canvas room into an amazing lit reception hall complete with lighting for each center piece! When a DJ asks if you want up lighting the answer is always YES!

We finished the day by taking a walk on the golf course to take some evening pictures serenaded quite suddenly by a pond full of frogs!

Hannah & Adrian

Hannah & Adrian

Hannah and Adrian were married Sunday morning in a garden followed immediately by lunch with their close family and friends around them. The butterfly chair doesn't work with every bride but Hannah pulled it off flawlessly.

They were a lot of fun and I enjoyed shooting their early morning wedding. I with them best of luck as they start their life together.

Kate & Adam

Kate & Adam

What do you do when it rains on your engagement shoot and on your wedding day? Why take amazing pictures of course! Some of the best sunsets come after a day of rain and Kate and Adam's rainy wedding day was no exception.

I could relate to Adam because he's not a big fan of cake. I do however like carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting. But if you don't like any kind of cake you're a bit limited. Just do what Adam did and have your caterer fry up a pound of bacon and walk around your reception eating it! A great solution to a vexing problem!

Lauren & Ben

Lauren & Ben

Lauren was a truly elegant bride. She got ready at her parents house with her mom and bridesmaids. After a first look with her dad She and Ben got married at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church and then off we went downtown for some bridal party pictures. Their reception was held at Union Station in the heart of Indianapolis. Once it started getting dark we snuck away for some twilight photos. Even though it was really crowded we managed to get some great shots. We even got photobombed by a cop! I've had firemen photobomb my pictures but this was a first for me, we had a good laugh. Thanks Lauren and Ben for letting me be a part of your special day
