Kim and Grant's snowy engagement shoot was a long time coming! We had scheduled a snow shoot right after a snow storm only to arrive and find out there was next to no snow on the canal! This time we waited for the mother of all storms and were not disappointed! Grant's brother arrived to help hold the props and managed to arrive coatless so he spent most of the time under the blanket they brought as a prop!

Here are some tips to take full advantage of the show.
1. Use a new email address: Just assume that your email will be shared with every single vendor. Make an email address specifically for bridal show use to catch all those emails you won't want after you're married.
2. Find a way to stay organized: There are so many vendors and all of them pass out lots of information so find a way to distinguish the ones you want to follow up with. Fold the corner of their handout, put a star in the corner, have two bags, one for interested and one for discarding.
3. Use labels with all your information to sign up for giveaways: This will save a ton of time and allow you to take full advantage of the time you're at the show. Usually all you need is your name, email address, mailing address and wedding date.
4. Lastly, stop by my booth! I'd love to talk to you.

My favorite memory of Karissa is asking her to sit in her wedding dress on a wooden bridge and her bridesmaids asking her if she really wanted to sit in her wedding dress. Her response was, if Nate sees me in a picture sitting down, I'm sitting down! I love that level of trust with my bride. I showed her and her bridesmaids the image after I took it and they were flabbergasted! Love that as well!
